Key Areas of Responsibility
• To conduct activities in accordance with the UK HSEQS Management System requirements and to meet all legal obligations incorporated in the UK HSEQS Management system, specifically to meet those responsibilities defined within procedure CORP/H&S/P/SP1.1 – HSE Roles and Responsibilities. • Completion of all necessary project procedures as detailed on the MDR. • Ensure all Engineering is carried out safely, reliably, accurately and meets the requirements of all appropriate codes, regulations and standards. • Ensure that the Company delivers quality engineering and documentation on time that satisfies all client and project requirements. • Ensure the client/project/bid support is delivered on time, at optimum cost and to a level appropriate for the task in hand. • Liaison with company and 3rd party clients when required. • Ensure project specific mobilisations are completed in a safe and timely matter. • Manage the fabrication cycle to ensure contractual obligations, budgets, QA/QC standards and schedules are met • Support the Mobilisation Manager and Project Manager to minimise cost and maximise margin throughout. • Build on-going relationships with third party suppliers
Key Tasks These tasks may be completed onshore or offshore • Lead and manage multiple teams of lead project engineers, project engineers and junior/graduate project engineers as required on a project by project basis. • Ensure that all relevant engineering department procedures are followed and enforced at all times to maintain required levels of consistency and quality throughout the business.
VACANCY – SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
Key Tasks • MDR completion. • Planning and execution of mobilisations working closely with the Mobilisation Manager ensuring it is completed within the required schedule. • Liaise with HSEQS to ensure all project specific HSEQS requirements are met and all necessary documentation is completed. • Liaise with Structural and Systems Engineering to ensure that all enabling works are completed on time. • Liaise with the draughting team to ensure that the drawings are completed on time. • Liaise with the geotechnical engineering team to ensure that the required assessment’s and configuration specifications are completed on time. • Liaise with procurement to ensure that all equipment is procured on time. • Liaise with Logistics to ensure that all hired equipment and UK equipment is delivered to the relevant location on time. • Ensure that all information is provided to the Cost Engineering function as requested. • Liaise closely with client representatives. • Work with the Project and Offshore Manager to ensure that work is conducted in a timely manner. • Supply information to Offshore Manager for daily DPR submission as required. • Ensure that all relevant asset data is collated during the course of a live project and then passed back to the respective departments (usually Geotechnical) for back analysis and asset configuration optimisation analysis. • Act as a mentor to fellow senior project engineers, lead project engineers, project engineers and Junior/Graduate project engineers to develop them as required • Direct all HSEQS concerns to the appropriate department. • Develop good working relationships with colleagues, and client representatives. • Ensure that the engineering manager is briefed on their specific project engineering status on a regular basis, including ensuring that any associated issues are raised in a timely manner to allow maximum time for resolution. • Liaise with the engineering department to ensure minimum cost ‘fit for purpose’ fabrications are engineered in a timely manner to suit the project schedule • Support the Project Manager and Procurement Department during the procurement cycle to ensure best possible prices are obtained from fabrication suppliers. • In conjunction with the QA department monitor, expedite and QC check all fabrications during the manufacturing phase to ensure the right product is delivered at the right time. • Support the Mobilisation Manager to co-ordinate third party contractor preparations and activities during mobilizations, demobilisations etc. • Consistently promote and maintain acceptable standards of conduct and work performance for all UK and third party personnel. • Support the Commercial Department to secure projects as and when required • Review welder qualification/codes/documentation as required to comply with project / HSEQS requirements
