This site of a multi-national company based in Newcastle are currently looking for a Design Engineer for their multi-site facilities.

This role is involved in the subsea reeler systems for the offshore market and will include:-

- Develop range of reeler equipment for the offshore markets being cost effective, bespoke to customer requirements, winches, reelers with pneumatic, electric and hydraulic primary power supplies.
- provide technical specs and drawings
- Assemble and testing of equipment

Candidates must have a mechanical engineering degree or previous Design Engineering experience within the subsea/ marine or oil & gas sectors.  Must also have experience with 3D design systems http://orologivip.com/ .  ideally have experience with certifications including DNV, Lloyds etc.
